Vauxhall Electric Streets & Kerbo Charge | Home EV Charging Without Driveways

Exciting news! We’re delighted to announce our partnership with Vauxhall Motors Electric Streets campaign, which aims to support the 40% of UK households without off-street parking to transition to electric vehicles with ease.

From the 16th April 2026, Vauxhall will be offering £500 off Kerbo Charge installation to customers as part of its Electric All In offer.

New Freedom of Information research by Vauxhall finds that over 40% of councils will have cross-pavement charging available to residents by the end of 2026

Kerbo Charge joins Vauxhall in calling for councils to stand united in their offering of cross-pavement charging solutions to allow for a level playing field across the country.

What is Vauxhall’s Electric Streets campaign?

Vauxhall launched the Electric Streets of Britain initiative in 2023 to highlight the challenges to going electric faced by the 40% of drivers across Britain without driveways.

Since launch, Vauxhall has welcomed drivers to register the need for on-street charging to be installed near them at electricstreets.co.uk. This database has so far received registrations from over 12,800 streets across the country where drivers say they need on-street charging installed

How Kerbo Charge Solves this Problem:

Kerbo Charge & Vauxhall cross pavement solution.

We are the leading provider of cross-pavement charging channels in the UK - 35 local authorities are already trialling the product and over 1,000 channels have been installed across the UK. And we’re only at the tip of the iceberg!

The Kerbo Charge home EV charging channel, manufactured in Derbyshire, is unique to the market because it’s able to bend with the pavement surface during installation (most UK pavements are not flat) – this makes for discreet installs that do not require surrounding groundworks.

Our strong belief is that this makes moving to EVs significantly more attractive: residents are no longer reliant on public charge points - a lack of driveway is no longer a barrier to at-home charging.

(We found in a recent survey that 53% of respondents would only get an EV if they can charge at home…)

Proudly Partnering with Vauxhall:

Through ‘Electric Streets’ Vauxhall is trying to ensure chargers are installed in the right places across the country - it’s important to match supply to demand so they get used but we’re also seeing that chargers installed will encourage people to make the switch to electric knowing they have a convenient place to charge nearby.
