The Kerbo Charge ‘Managed Service’

As your Kerbo Charge channel is installed across the public domain it’s vital that it’s always quickly repaired in the event of any product or installation damage.

Your installation comes with a two year free of charge labour warranty, and after that for a low monthly fee (currently £4.99 / month) you get:

  • Easy reporting of any issues to our rapid response team.

  • Rectification of any urgent issues within 48 hours. Repair of less urgent issues within 30 days.

  • Peace of mind with zero excess or hidden fees.

  • We include any repairs to the channel, surrounding installation work, and even any damage caused by vandalism. T&Cs apply.

    Simply email help@kerbocharge.com with a picture of the issue and a description (plus your name and address) and we’ll reply within 1 working day about next steps.

    We’ll soon be adding a self serve portal.

  • We'll schedule your repair

    We’ll let you know when we’re visiting to carry out the repair, or we’ll provide advice about how you can fix it yourself.

  • Get back to low cost home charging!

Frequently asked questions about how it works

  • You pay this from the start of Year 3 or 25 months after your Kerbo Charge install. That’s because the first two years are covered by the original installation labour warranty and product warranty.

  • It’s £4.99 a month, index linked to the consumer price index, the UK’s main measure of inflation.

  • Yes you can cancel at any time. If you cancel we’ll lock out your channel by installing a special fixed version of the lid.

    You can reactive the channel at any time by scanning the QR code on the top of the special fixed version of the lid we’ll install.

    There is a reactivation fee to cover the cost of us visiting your property to reinstall the opening version of the lid and we’ll notify you about this before your channel is locked.

  • No, because your channel is installed in the public domain, it simply must be repaired quickly if it’s causing a hazard to other footway users.

  • Many local authorities simply don’t have the funds to pay for additional repair work. As your channel is primarily for your exclusive use, it’s reasonable that you’ll pay a small amount to ensure it’s always quickly repaired.

  • Yes we provide a 10 year product warranty, however this repair insurance covers the labour cost of any repairs, plus repairs caused by vandalism.

  • Simply tell us when you’re moving and we’ll cancel your monthly payments. The channel will be locked out until the next resident takes it over.
